Visitor Guidelines

We are delighted to welcome you to Château de Lantenay.
To ensure a safe and pleasant visit for all, and to protect this historic estate, we kindly ask that you observe the following:

Tickets and Entry

Please keep your ticket safe and present it on request.
Tickets are valid only for the date and time booked, and are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation by the château.

Respect for the Estate

This is a place of history and heritage. Please treat the château, its gardens, and furnishings with care.
Certain areas are restricted for preservation and safety purposes.
We reserve the right to request the departure of any visitor whose behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.

Photography and Filming

Photography for personal use is welcome in outdoor spaces.
Interior photography, commercial filming, and the use of drones are not permitted without prior written permission.

Dogs and Assistance Animals

Dogs are welcome in all outdoor areas if kept on a lead at all times.
Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the estate.
Please clean up after your pet and use the bins provided.

Hearing Prenois Circuit

On certain days, the breeze may carry the distant hum of engines from the nearby circuit - a reminder that Burgundy’s rhythms include both the quiet of the vines and the pulse of sport. Most of the time, however, the château offers only birdsong and rustling leaves.

Safety

Some paths may be uneven or slippery. Please take care and wear appropriate footwear.
In the unlikely event of an accident, our team may ask you to complete a brief accident report.

Events and Photography

On occasion, a photographer may be present during events. We will always seek your permission before taking or using an identifiable image.

Parking

Please use the designated parking areas only.
Vehicles and belongings are left at the owner’s risk.
